one week?!

Oh My Gosh… I can’t believe I only have 1 week left before I “fly” to China…
Hopping from country to country is exciting but I kinda want to feel home for a little while longer. To be perfectly honest, since I lived in Singapore for 3 years, sometimes Jakarta doesn’t feel like home anymore. The one and only reason that makes Jakarta kinda homey is my family, oh and the fact that I have my own proper bedroom here. haha
Perhaps, I should stay longer so I could get the ‘home’ feeling again. :p

I really hope I could blog in China, because being away from my friends and having 0 friends right there, this blog could be the only thing that I could go to pour my heart out.

Anyway, I should go to sleep now… the mosquitoes are eating me alive.

you can’t unsee what you saw

Life in Jakarta had been boring. Okay, may be a little exciting since I get to meet my long-time-no-see friends here and, of course my dearest family. My 3 months break since my final exam in May is almost over. In that three months time, I get to travel around Indonesia (Surabaya, Solo, Bali) and also to Guang Zhou, to take a tour on my future language school. Other than that, I’ll just stay at home (playing the sims 3 + roller coaster tycoon), or hanging out with my friends or have a great family-time with my dear parents & brothers You see how boring my life is in this whole 3 months? I even could summarize it in a paragraph (which I already did and you’re reading it) haha! :X

Time flies as always. I’ll be moving to Guang Zhou in approximately 2 weeks. WOW! another year, another country. Life can’t be more exciting! I’m so blessed to have this opportunity. I’ll be blogging in Chinese one year from now. haha
Am I ready? Probably… yes. The thought of having 0 friends scares me but motivates me as well. That is because I love to make friends and being in that situation 2 weeks from now, well, I could make A LOT of friends!

I should start converting movies into the ipod touch format since my flight took almost 5 hours. No complaints here since you guys might have been in so much longer flights than this but still right? 5 hours, way up high in the sky, ALONE?! I must have something to accompany me… (unless the in flight movies are so damn good) haha. oh, and I have to pack a pile of tissues before I get there. You can not imagine how DIRTY & DISGUSTING China’s toilets are. The best toilet I’ve ever been in, in Guang Zhou is… their airport’s. The rest? oh God… You can not unsee what you saw. Seriously, IT’LL KEEP PLAYING IN YOUR MIND. Gotta be prepared man!

“BEST” thing being in China? Every single social networking site is blocked.
that’s right!
no facebook,
no youtube,
no tumblr,
no twitter,
no google,
no blogger.

Okay, luckily there’s google hong kong so I could still search stuff there. Since blogger (blogspot.com) is associated with google, yeah, there’s no way you could BLOG or even access blogs that are powered by blogger.com. SUCKY MUCH?! :’( Luckily, my website here is powered by WORDPRESS <3 and the last time I checked, I could blog there! YAY! haha… I’ll learn to survive without all these eventually. I mean, I have to, or else, I’ll need to learn how to hack China’s firewall. lol.

maaaaannnnn, I wish I have some pictures to spice things up. Too bad I don’t have.
I’ll just end here then. I’m going to watch another episode of How I Met Your Mother before I sleep.

soon college life will finally be over. This makes me really emotional lately… The fact that I’ll be leaving Singapore… the fact that I won’t be together with my friends anymore, leaving bonds that I’ve built for years, leaving all the good & bad memories I’ve had for years.

I’m not sad that I won’t be living in Singapore anymore, it’s because of the friends, the chat buddies, the crazy-i-can-stay-up-all-night group of friends that I have, created this ‘invisible’ comfort zone for me. They make me happy, they keep me company.

Well, I love the fact that I have the opportunity to go to another country to study. BUT I’M BACK TO SQUARE ONE! and that sucks. I have to start over with literally, e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g! The friends, the culture, the language, the environment… I’m not complaining, I know I can always adapt to the new environment & I’m blessed to have this opportunity

Oh well, my exam is coming soon… it’s on 25th and 27th. It’s gonna be a hell of a week! Wish me luck people.

btw, you should really watch this. I love David Choi. He’s really cute & talented! <3
