the internet ruined my life February 5, 2010

HELLO GUYS!!! it’s 3.40 AM right now and I’m feeling crazy fresh! I need to force myself to sleep somehow though… because I have class at 12 noon later… I’ve screwed up my sleeping schedule since… the beginning of 2010. ouch! I know… January supposed to be the new beginning… new routine… and blablabla… BUT HOW?! :’(

The most common questions I got from my friends on WHY am i sleeping 4 – 5 AM in the morning is… WHAT DID YOU DO? and the most appropriate answer would be – BROWSING. Facebook, twitter, tumblr, youtube, fashion blogs, MSN, SKYPE, blogging, etc. There are just endless sites I could visit.

It always starts with… “okay, I’m gonna check on my facebook for 15 minutes and I’m outta here” and guess what? I’m always end up with hours and hours of browsing!!! Yes true, internet has ruined my life… especially my SLEEPING SCHEDULE! but on the other hand, i love the fact that internet exist. All you have to do is to on your laptop, to kill the time… There are a bunch of interesting sites where you can learn stuff that teachers don’t teach at school… In fact, I LEARNT A LOT from the internet. I even made friends online!

Well well, it’s not the internet to blame that MY or… in this case, OUR sleeping schedule is ruined right? It’s still up to us how long we want to spend our time in front of the laptop, browsing / chatting. I need to fix my sleeping schedule in the near future. FOR REAL! or else these complexions are getting worse and worse! argh~

Anyway, I gotta go… the sun will rise soon!!! I NEED TO GO TO SLEEP! BYE! :p

We’ve finally come to the end of January… Gosh, time flies super fasttt… I couldn’t even keep up :’(

I will be having my preliminary exam soon (on March) and the real exam on May, thusss… I should start revising from now! Don’t get me wrong… I’m not the nerdy-bookworm type. I spent most of my time in front of the computer and honestly, I master photoshop more than I master the ‘accounting-related’ module I’m taking this year. I need to study and graduate on time.

I was having this conversation earlier today about how hard it was to find a job these days. My friends, who have graduated last year are now on their job-seeking phase… They were busy buying newspapers, looking of jobs, sending out resumes, going for interviews and honestly, it scares me… When I was in high school, I kept complaining how ‘hard’ it was to study… hmmm chemistry, physics, geography, etc. All I did was memorize and throw it all up on the exam paper and forgot everything afterwards. Now that I’m in college, I wish I could go back to high school and do it all over again, for grades & friends’ sake. MEMORIES! It wasn’t tough at all, i tell you… Those of you who are still in high school, please do enjoy every minute of it and study hard! BELIEVE ME, everything will be tougher as you grow older – the dramas, the things you have to do, dealing with people around you, everything… I’m almost-done with college and going to work soon, it means I have a whole new world ahead of me… A whole new atmosphere, people, drama,… a whole new LIFE. Things will never be the same anymore.

Therefore, I should stop complaining about how HARD it is being in college because I know working + earning money is much harder than this. All I have to do is practice what the lecturers have taught in school & revise. How simple that can be? Seriously, why didn’t I realize how simple it was before? :S but still, I’m really happy that I’ll be done with this in 4 months. I think I had enough of studying, reading books, taking notes & listening to lectures. Time for a new change! I better make things work in my last months of studying!
